Established in 1964, the Tulane National Primate Research Center has continually expanded its facilities, increased faculty and staff, and experienced steady growth in its research programs. It has become a premier infectious disease research facility. The Center is one of the largest employers in St. Tammany Parish, the fastest growing parish in the State of Louisiana, USA.

Located in Covington, Louisiana, thirty-five miles north of New Orleans, the Center offers its employees safe and secure, cosmopolitan-country communities in which to live, work and play.
